I’m looking for some nature this weekend. My plan is to slip into it and muck around for a while. I’m thinking the beach, or the mountains, or a lake. Did you know that there is a growing thought by scientists of the benefit of outdoor/unplugged thoughts for the brain?
On that note, I love this podcast on heading into the wilderness and shutting the electronics down:

Enjoy! And get outdoors!

I would hate to think the brain did not benefit from being unplugged and outside. I look forward to being plugged in less …. coming soon.
Me too! Must step away from this computer and go enjoy the afternoon breeze. It’s nice today.
My husband and I are hiking the Coast to Coast in England, 192 miles from St. Bees on the west coast to Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast; we’re more than halfway through and I’ve never been so unplugged. My only internet time is every couple of days to post pictures of the spectacular landscapes and geology of this country. Unplugging for nature is truly reinvigorating.
Okay, are you blogging about this? I would love to see the pictures!
