The Christmas Truce

We’ve all heard about the famous Christmas Day Truce of 1914, when the British and German soldiers dropped their arms and met in the middle of the battlefield to play soccer and celebrate the holiday in peace.

Today, I give you a new kind of truce, a truce so unexpected that it baffles the mind.  After months of conflict, two arch enemies take a moment to salute each other for the holidays.

Hold on to your computers…. this may be shocking.  To me it’s simply a miracle.

But come January…. game on!
