Tomorrow we’re hunting turkeys…
First we will travel up the coast to Boothbay Harbor and hopefully landing successfully at the Maine Botanical Gardens. There we will join the “hunters” as we descend upon the grounds searching for sustenance among the ferns and fora for the coveted free turkeys and cranberry sauce.
Did I mention the cranberry sauce?
Okay, I don’t know if there will really be cranberry sauce there. But, you can win 150 gallons of free oil! No kidding. That would be a Thanksgiving miracle.
This is the deal (snitched from the webpage):

Entertaining activities add to the fun of this free event. Complimentary refreshments, too.
Additional sponsors are Cap’n Fish’s Whale Watch, Tindal & Callahan Real Estate, Valley View Orchards Pies, and Native Maine Produce.
Hope to see you there!

sounds like an amazing adventure!! If we weren’t already obligated to attend “Great Aunt Edna’s 100th birthday” we would be at this event!! Good luck, let us know what you win.
