Don’t you just love an adventure? You know, when you get up early, pop into the car and let the day roll around you as you slip into different scenes of fun.
You see it doesn’t matter where you go as long as there are plenty of interesting things to see.
Lunch is simple: cold water and a hastily stuffed bagel. Love that.
In the heat, the water is a welcome retreat. From here we slipped down the train tracks toward a swimming hole- so top secret that I can’t post its location. But, I will say it involved lots of cliff jumping and a up river climb into natural whirl pools and slides that would delight swimmers of all ages.
Surrounded by trees it’s easy to let the imagination run wild and thoughts of characters flickered in my head as the clouds morphed and changed by the second.

“You will tell me the location of the secret Rebel base,” Steve said in his most pathetic Darth Vader voice.
