Sea Dogs Run/Walk for Breast Cancer

Mother’s Day morning was spent with nearly three thousand other people at the Sea Dogs 5k Run for Breast Cancer.  I’d never done this before and was blown away by the super crowds, positive energy, and beautiful race course.   What a great way to spend Mother’s Day morning.

Look at that sky!  Look at those people!

Yes, both young and old came out for the race.  Most people ran.  Some people walked.  It was all good either way.

A bagpiper along the way.

I’ve zipped under this bridge in my car hundreds of times, but walking gave me a new appreciation for it.   The air underneath was cool and rather spooky.  I think it might be haunted.

Check out those calcified drippings.  Yup haunted for sure.

So we walked, and we walked, and we walked.

This is the exact first spot that I got mooned by a stranger.  In case you were wondering why I took this picture. It wasn’t pretty.

Amazing flowers along the way.

If only I brought some money… a small shot of espresso would have been appreciated.

At this point I was wishing that I had time to smell some of these beauties, but alas you’ve got to worry about your time during these things.

Perfect scene for a crime.

Hadlock Field!

The Racers.

Mother’s Day Flower!  Oh, and for your viewing pleasure I’ll show you my Mother’s Day Portrait.  Yes, this is how I walked around until somebody mentioned that I was missing something.  Sigh… typical.

That’s one cool mother!

You note the exact FIRST spot you got mooned. Are you saying there was a second and third, etc? Was this the day of the walk? Congrats on tackling the 5K. Well done!

  2. Sadly, I remember all of the places that I was mooned in my life. That one goes way back… I think I was fifteen. Oh, the memories.
