Spring Vacation Walk

April can go either way here in Maine.  Some years you can sit under blue skies and enjoy a small taste of summer…. that wasn’t yesterday when I met a friend at Ferry Beach in Scarborough.

The sky looms large over Ferry Beach making it beautiful, even though we were freezing.

Yup, that says it all-winter coats, hats, fleece, and gloves!

But the cold doesn’t stop the dogs from swimming.  Small brains.

Despite the chill, I enjoy the contrast of shadows and colors.

Luckily, there’s always an interesting spot at Ferry Beach!

This is fantastic! Good for you for getting out and enjoying the weather – cold or not. The kids look like they were having fun, and I know the dogs were having fun. Some folks avoid the cold at all costs; you could teach ‘em a lesson.

Seems like it is “feast or famine” thing going on. It is 90 here and I am happy to be leaving that next week on our way north. Maybe, a little warmer by May. Time for those spring flowers and garden work! Love the pics of boys. The other 2 in picture are sure growing up fast, too!
