The night before surgery was spent trying to write the synopsis for my novel The Curse of Elizabeth Brewster. Writing a synopsis is equivalent to scrubbing your toilet, you need to do it, but you might put it off until your mother-in-law comes over. I’ll admit it, I put it off longer than I should, broke my finger, spent days on pain meds, and then the night before surgery I worked on it until two in the morning. So picture this, I have one finger pecking away at at a harrowing speed into the night. Bitterness arrives uninvited to my synopsis pity party. My friends, it’s not easy squeezing 80,000 words into two pages, but I did it. It’s gone, it might not be perfect, but it’s gone.
Here I am after surgery. Notice that I have a cast up to my elbow and the only finger exposed is one lonely thumb. As you can imagine, I’m super excited to be dictating this post to you. Dragon Dictate could revolutionize writing as I know it. Seriously, I’ve got my hands over my head as I type this through my words. In the future, I’m planning on working out while I write. I’ll be an extreme typist, you’ll never know if I’m really wrapped up in the yoga poses, cooking brownies, or scrubbing my toilet as I create these posts. That is how fantastic Dragon Dictate is.
If only Dragon Dictate could make me lunch. That would be a perfect partnership.
Yes, I’ve seen the light.

Don’t you love it.
I’m glad we don’t have to wait for your recovery to enjoy your words.
Mind if we share your post on the Dragon blog?
Not at all…it’s a great product.
