Ever think of the word bubbles? I couldn’t find the origin of the word, but I bet it’s interesting. I’m imagining some kid with a mouth full of taffy saying, “Ook, bubbles.” Come on, it’s true. Bubbles is one perfect word for bubbles.
I found a Chinese proverb on bubbles. Here goes-
“Words are mere bubbles of water, but deeds are drops of gold.”
Shoot, that’s kind of stressful isn’t it? This spring, I read the book One Minute Millionaire by those crafty inspirational writers Robert Allen & Mark Victor Hanson of Chicken Soup for the Soul fame and they certainly talked about the importance of investing in real estate, maybe I should ditch the whole writing thing and turn into a house flipper or maybe just a landlady. I could wear a muumuu, get a perm, and chain smoke. I bet that muumuu would be some comfy!
Lately, I’ve had ideas for books like crazy. They are daily little musings, but alas no real time to write. Right now the ideas are so like these bubbles, fleeting little nuggets. I’ve got to get busy.
Here’s a bubble recipe:
NWF Backyard Bubbles
1/4 c. dish soap, 3/4 c. cold water, 5 drops glycerin
Mix together and enjoy!
This is cool! I think the word, “Bubble” so fits the actual object. Hope you are well, Julie!
